Warning: Big brand locum insurance can mean big ticket prices
This morning we saw a GP practice which has locum insurance with another, well-known brand provider. Their premium is £19,000 pa.
We quoted for our top policy giving the practice the same peace of mind as they have currently and we saved them over £10,500 a year.
What's more, the other provider's cover is on a 6 month deferment basis so there would be no payments for 26 weeks whereas ours is just 4 weeks.
Clearly big brand insurance isn't always big on value.Read more
